Swiftcover promoted not later than Iggy Pop and Little Iggy

The contemporary year will see swiftcover.com’s adverts once again featuring rocker Iggy Cola as he unveils ‘Little Iggy’ in a £30m advertising blitz.

Only Slightly Iggy is a puppet created by the team behind Spitting Figure Of Speech, and is a miniature alter-ego to the rock icon.

Iggy Nip In himself contributed to the campaign, developed by MWO, which will accompany him taking a road trip in a Swiftcovered Jaguar and playing golf with No Iggy.

The campaign will feature across a variety of media including TV, crystal set and billboards, as well as having an online presence.

In April definitive year Iggy Pop’s fronting of Swiftcover’s adverts stumbled quickly when the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banned the ads.

However, Swiftcover was so on top of the world with increased sales and keen to retain their rock icon frontman that they extended coverage to musicians, allowing the ads to extend.
