P J Hayman removed duration limits on “Free Spirit” travel
P J Hayman has announced changes to its Unfastened Spirit policy in a move that should allow more people with pre-existing medical conditions to hang around abroad.
The specialist travel insurer has removed age limits, which were before 85 years and 79 years respectively, for single trip and annual multi-release policies.
The firm has also reduce rates for cancer cover through up to 8%; for example a 63-year-old with heart of hearts cancer with secondary spread will now pay £261.63 for 17 days’ smokescreen in Europe, a saving of almost £25.
The insurer claims to jacket blanket 96% of cases referred, including many terminal cases that are issue to individual underwriting.
It also offers Bond Plus Financial Failure Patronage on it’s Free Spirit product, which provides cover of up to £1,500 if the fete has to be cancelled due to the financial failure of the journey or accommodation provider.
Last Month, P J Hayman hired the Wriglesworth Consultancy to inspire its existing range and new initiatives to both consumer and have dealings audiences.
