Amlin destine head of Group Risk

Maestro insurer Amlin Plc has named Alex Hindson as the new superior of Group Risk.

He leaves behind Aon Global Risk Consulting where he leads a party of a dozen consultants as head of Enterprise Risk Management by reason of the EMEA region, formulating and enacting risk management solutions for liberal global clients.

Prior to Aon, Hindson worked for AstraZeneca for the first-rate part of two decades, most latterly as risk services manager where he was ethical for a business-wide risk management strategy, in addition to managed corporate governance hazard reporting.

In his new post Hindson is directly responsible to society chief risk officer, James Illingworth, and will be tasked with ensuring the compressed continues to maintain high standards of risk management throughout its corporation.

Illingworth has stated that the firm is constantly improving its framework of jeopardize management, and explained that Hindson’s presence would be valuable in embedding risk management throughout the firm.
