Digg Working On StumbleUpon-Like Toolbar!
Word on the street has it that Digg is working on a new toolbar, which lets users digg or bury the page they’re viewing and displays related pages. According to a beta tester who spoke with TechCrunch, the toolbar also features a StumbleUpon-like random page generator. In fact, to be totally honest, the whole sounds very StumbleUpony…
The toolbar also offers TinyURL-like functionality, which lets users create shorter links beginning with the http://digg.com/ domain. Sharing pages via Facebook or Twitter will use that Digg domain.
Also interesting is the fact that the toolbar is not a browser plug-in, but rather an i-frame that sits around the page your looking at, bring it to your computer via Digg.com.
